As I mentioned in a previous post, the pumpkin patch has been completely overtaken by tall tall weeds. Adam has been working on a plan to get rid of them because they are too tall for his rototiller to handle.
First, he tried to burn them. But they were too wet and that didn't go so well. His new plan is to weed wack them (he just bought a new weed wacker with a heavy duty weed wacking attachment), then burn what is left and then rototill it. I don't know if we will actually be planting pumpkins if it keeps taking so long! We have just been so busy lately, it has been hard for Adam to find time to work in the field. Weddings, parties, and get togethers, oh my! Welcome to summer!
