My (two) Thanksgivings

Sorry, I have completely disappeared from blogland in the recent week. It has just been crazy busy. But I am back!

We had a very busy and enjoyable Thanksgiving. We started off by attending Mass with my parents. Then we headed to Adam's bro and sister-in-law's house (Aaron and Amanda) for Thanksgiving with his family. We tried to ration how much we ate....but it didn't go so well. We still ate way too much!

And I do have to say I was pretty excited about my sweater dress, pink tights, and slouchy boots!

The interesting jello thing I bought from someone at church. It was all gelatin and completely edible!

Amanda and Adam...
Obviously Adam was being hit by a turkey coma!
After Amanda and Aaron's, Adam and I headed to my Uncle Dave's for Thanksgiving with my family. We also celebrated Christian's second birthday so of course I took about 2,000 pictures! We (once again) ate way too much , spent time with family, and enjoyed watching Christian open presents and eat his cake (he was way more interested in it at 2 than at 1!).

I am so lucky to have my family (mine and my new family in Adam's family) and friends to spend holidays with. This Thanksgiving I was thankful for Adam, family, friends, my job, and my health. I also spent time praying for those in my life that need my prayers the most.....I am praying that my mom continues to heal and finds answers to what has been hurting her for years, I am praying for Erin and Ted that they are able to become parents soon, I am praying for my friend Mandy's younger sister as she begins treatment, I am praying for Katie and her baby Zander as he grows, I am praying for little Layla and her parents as they figure everything out with her new medicines, I am praying for my grandma as she deals with her back pain and I am praying for everyone else in my life who needs God's support.
