Transportation Second Birthday

For Eli's 2nd birthday we celebrated with a transportation theme!

Favor bags painted with black acrylic paint with yellow paint marker lines. They contained transportation-themed items: truck shaped crayons, transportation ducks, and other items from Oriental Trading

Activities

We ended up having terrible weather with pouring rain so everything neede to be inside.

Transportation cut-outs with markers and stickers to decorate

Car wash: water table filled with vehicles covered in shaving cream to spray with water bottles

Pool filled with boats and beans (since water inside would be a silly idea!)

My dad built an amazing racing ramp for the kids to race hot wheels sized cars (but I did dollar store!)

Wooden cars "Body Shop" to decorate with sharpie markers.

Inflatable tires open play

Decorations

Banner made by my mom! Tables had black table clothes, yellow duct tape to make lines down the middle, mini construction cones (that still get played with 3 hours later), and cars on the table.

Various road signs around the house

We made this car as an awesome photo booth and decoration. My husband and his dad cut it out and painted it. I made the license plate, tires, headlights, and logo out of vinyl.

My mom made this balloon wreath and I designed the poster to match the invitation.

"Time Flies" banner with a picture hanging from each month

Number 2 poster made out of cheap Dollar Tree cars hot glued on foam board.

Food

Cloud Jello (blue jello with cool whip and airplanes)
